T20: Australia Beat Pakistan By 7 Wickets

Australia beat Pakistan by 7 wickets in the second T20 international in Canberra and lead series 1-nil. PTV Sports telecast the match live.

Earlier captain Babar Azam and Iftikhar Alam post half centuries and help Pakistan set Australia 151. Opting to bat first, Pakistan scored 150 for 6 in allotted 20 overs. Pakistan never really took off losing wickets at regular intervals. Fakhar, Haris, Rizwan All fell cheaply but captain Babar Azam once again rose to the occasion scoring 50 before getting run out. If it weren't for Iftikhar's 62 of 34, getting to 150 seemed a distant prospect. Agar bagged two while Cummins and Richardson claimed one wicket each.

In reply, Australia crossed over the fence in 18.3 overs. After the departure of Warner and Finch, Smith proved to be the deciding factor with his unbeaten 80. Irfan, Imad and Amir bagged one wicket each.
