Pakistan Fined For Slow Over-rate In Dubai

Pakistan captain Imad Wasim was fined 20 per cent of his match fee for maintaining a slow over-rate against Australia in the fourth one day international in Dubai.

Pakistan were found one over short of their target by match referee Jeff Crowe after time allowances were taken into consideration in Dubai.

The home team copped a 10 per cent fine while the stand-in skipper Wasim received double the fine.

Imad pleaded guilty to the offence after the end of the match and accepted the proposed sanction, barring the need of any formal hearing.
