Australia Beat Pakistan In 3rd ODI

Australia beat Pakistan by 80 runs in the third One Day International to take unassailable 3-0 lead in five match series in Abu Dhabi.

Earlier, Australia scored 266 runs for the loss of six wickets in 50 overs.

Skipper Aaron Finch remained top scorer with 90 runs. The right-handed opener scored 90 off 136 balls with five boundaries and a six to anchor Australia.

Glenn Maxwell smashed 71 runs with the help of 8 boundaries and one six.

For Pakistan, Imad Wasim, Haris Sohail, Junaid Khan, Usman Shinwari and Yasir Shah took one wicket each.

In reply chasing 267, Pakistan were bowled out for 186 runs in 44.4 overs.

Chasing a daunting target Pakistan lost quick wickets. Pakistan top order failed to perform as they lost three wickets for just 16 runs.

Imam remained top scorer with 46 off 72 deliveries. He smashed two fours and two sixes.

Imad made 43 runs with the help of four boundaries while Umar Akmal added 36 runs, hitting three fours.

For Australia, Adam Zampa bagged four while pat Cummins took three wickets.

The fourth match of the series will be played on Friday in Dubai.
