Brisbane Heat thrashed Melbourne Stars by 10 wickets and moved upto fourth place in Big Bash Cricket League.

Batting first Melbourne Stars scored 156 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 20 over's.

Opener Marcus Stoinis remained top scorer with 81 runs off 51 delivers. He smashed seven boundaries and two sixes in his innings.

For Brisbane, Josh Lalor bagged three wickets.

Brisbane thrashed away Melbourne convincingly by the mind-boggling hitting of Ben Cutting and Max Byrant at top of the order. The duo showed no mercy on stars’ bowlers, who whacked almost every ball to the fence.

Ben cutting finished with 81 runs in just 30 balls, hitting eight sixes and four boundaries. On the other hand, Byrant scored 71 runs in 30 balls. He smashed five sixes and six fours.

With the win, Brisbane Heat moved upto fourth place with 13 points.
