Fakhar Zaman To Join Somerset Till End Of Season

Pakistan Champions Trophy Hero, Fakhar Zaman had joined English County Somerset as an overseas player.

Zaman took the cricketing world by storm, after his man of the match performance against India in the final of the Champions Trophy at the oval in June.

Zaman entry comes after black caps all-rounder Corey Anderson suffered a back injury, and will be returning back to New Zealand.

Zaman, who has been capped seven times by Pakistan in limited-overs cricket, has signed until the end of the season. The former Navy Sailor now joins fellow teammates including Mohammad Amir, Junaid Khan, Skipper Sarfraz Ahmed in the English County.

The 27-year-old can play in both the T20 blast and County Championship during his stay at Taunton.
