First Inter Departmental Asian Style National Kabaddi Championship will kick off from 2nd of August in Islamabad.

Talking to media in Pakistan Sports Complex, Secretary General Pakistan Kabaddi Federation Rana Muhammad Sarwar said that six teams are participating in the event which will be played on single league base.

Teams from Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy, WAPDA, Pakistan Air Force, Railways and Police are taking part in the championship.

The organizers have scheduled the matches in evening time to ensure maximum participation of public. This will help in promoting a positive and soft image of Pakistan.
