In the inaugural match of the series, Zahed Mohamed of Egypt beat Waqar Mehboob of Pakistan by 3-0.
Egyptian player won the match with the score of 11-9, 11-9 and 11-8.
In the second match, Omar Mosaad of Egypt beat Ahsan Ayaz by 11-8, 11-7 and 12-10.
In the third match, Mazen Hesham outplayed Farhan Zaman 11-6, 11-9, 9-11 and 11-7 to take a 3-nil lead for Egypt.
