Australia Beat India By 8 Wickets In Bristol

Australia Women beat India by 8 wickets in the 23rd match of ICC Women's World cup 2017 at Bristol.

Earlier, batting first, India Women scored 226 runs for the loss of seven wickets in allotted 50 over's.

Opener Punam Raut remained top scorer with 106 runs knock. She hit 11 boundaries in her 136-ball knock.

Skipper Mithali Raj scored 69 while Harmanpreet Kaur made 23 runs.

Punam and Mithali shared 157 runs for the second wicket stand.

For Australia, Ellyse Perry and Megan Schutt bagged two wickets each. While Ashleigh Gardner and Kristen beams took one wicket each.
In reply Australia women achieved the 227-run target for the loss of two wickets in 45.1 over's.

Mag Lanning remained top scorer with unbeaten 76 runs knock, while Ellyse Perry scored 60 not out.

Both shared unbeaten 124 runs stand for the third wicket.

Openers Beth Mooney and Nicole Bolton scored 45 and 36 runs respectively.

Meg Lanning was declared player of the match.

In the other matches of the day, South Africa defeated Sri Lanka by 8 wickets while England beat New Zealand by 75 runs.
