Bolton Hit Ton, Australia Beat West Indies By 8 Wickets

Nicole Bolton hit unbeaten century as defending champion Australia beat West Indies by 8 wickets in the fourth match of ICC Women's World Cup 2017 at Taunton.

Earlier, batting first west indies women were bowled out for 204 runs in 47.5 over's.

Opener Hayley Matthews remains top scorer with 46 runs knock, hitting seven boundaries.

At one stage West Indies were well placed at 157 for three but they lost their last seven wickets for just 47 runs.

Skipper Stafanie Taylor made 45 while Chedean nation scored 39 runs.

For Australia, Ellyse Perry bagged three while Kristen beams and Jess Jonassen took two wickets each.
In reply Australia women easily achieved the 205-run target for the loss of two wickets in 38.1 over's.

An opening partnership of 171 between Nicole Bolton and Beth Mooney paved the way for Australia women to begin their title Defence with an eight-wicket win.

Nicole Bolton remained top scorer with unbeaten 107 runs. She hit 14 boundaries in her 116 ball knock.

Beth Mooney hit 70 runs off 85 balls. Her innings laced seven boundaries and one six.

Stafanie Taylor took two wickets for west indies.
