President Asif Ali Zardari Asif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have congratulated the Pakistan Cricket Team for winning the one-day series against Australia after 22 years.

President Asif Ali Zardari lauded the performance of the Pakistan cricket team and expressed the hope that the team would continue to achieve more successes in future as well.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the win had brought great joy to the nation and praised Pakistani bowlers and batsmen for their excellent performance against Australia.

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi also felicitated the national team for winning the one-day series against Australia on their home ground.

He said the players and the management deserved praise for the historic win.

He said the Pakistan team had outclassed the Australians in all departments.
