Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated Muhammad Asif on winning the international Billiards And World Snooker Federation (IBSF) Championship in Doha.

In a statement, the Prime Minister said Muhammad Asif made the entire nation proud by winning the International Championship for the third time.

He said the family of Muhammad Asif and his coach also deserve congratulations on this victory. The Prime Minister said that Muhammad Asif worked day and night to win the World Championship, for which he deserves accolade.

He said the talented youth of Pakistan are making Pakistan famous in the sports arena and the Government is making every effort to provide world-class facilities to the players.

He said providing quality training facilities to the players for world competitions is the top priority of the Government.
