Vienna Open: Jack Draper Celebrates First Career Title In Vienna

Briton Jack Draper Beat Karen Khachanov in the final of the Erste Bank Open in Vienna.

Draper clinched the final in straight sets, taking 96 minutes to seal a 6-3 7-5 win. The 22-year-old, ranked 18th in the world, dominated the first set with an array of powerful forehand winners.

Draper seemed to be coasting to victory, rushing to a 4-0 lead in the second set before Khachanov composed himself to clinch the next five on the trot.

But the Russian's comeback fell short as he lost his serve to give draper a 6-5 lead and a chance to serve out the match.

Draper won his first career title in Stuttgart earlier in the year.
