The Panthers trash the dolphins by 50 runs in the third match of the champions one-day cup at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, securing their first victory of the tournament.

Earlier, Panthers Captain Shadab Khan won the toss and elected to bat.

Batting first panthers were bowled out for 328 runs in 49.4 overs.

Usman Khan remained top scorer with 111 runs. He smashed 11 fours and three sixes in his innings.

Shadab Khan made 65 runs with the help of five fours and two sixes while Haider Ali scored 63, hitting five fours and three sixes.

For Dolhpins, Usman Qadir bagged three while Mir Hamza and Abbas Afridi took two wickets each.

In reply chasing a target of 329 the dolphins were all out for 278 runs in 47 overs.

Qasim Akram was the top scorer with 65 runs, hitting 8 fours and 1 six. Other notable batsmen were Sahibzada Farhan with 52 runs and Faheem Ashraf with 41 runs.

For the Panthers, Mohammad Hasnain claimed 5 wickets and was named player of the match for his great bowling. Usama Mir and Mubashir Khan each took two wickets.
