Tennis Hamburg: Rune's Place At Olympics Threatened By Knee Injury

Holger Rune was forced to retire from his Hamburg European Open quarter-final match against Frenchman Arthur Fils on Friday, casting doubt on the Dane's participation in the Paris Olympics which open next week.

Rune was trailing 6-4 4-1 when he conceded the match to Fils, who advances to the semi-finals to take on third seed argentine Sebastian Baez, a 2-6 6-4 6-4 winner over Italy's Luciano Darderi.
