Wimbledon Open: Murray Drops Out Of Event, Djokovic, Draper Qualify For 2nd Round

Former world number one and home favorite Andy Murray of great Britain is out of the Wimbledon Open.

Serbia's Novak Djokovic and great Britain's Jack Draper have qualified for the second round.

In the first round of the Tennis Grand Slam, Andy Murray was scheduled to compete against Tomas Machae of the Czech Republic, but Murray could not get on the court due to an injury.

Serbia's Novak Djokovic advanced to the second round after defeating Czech Republic qualifier Vit Kopriva in straight sets in the opening round. Seven-time Wimbledon Open Winner Djokovic defeated Kopriva 6-1, 6-2, 6-2.

Great Britain's Jack Draper defeated qualifier Elias Ymer Of Sweden in five sets after a tight contest. Draper won the rollercoaster match against Ymer 3-6, 6-3, 6-3, 4-6 and 6-3.

Greece's Stefanos Stitsipas, America's Taylor Fritz and Denmark's Holger Rune also won their respective matches.
