Pakistan's Owais Munir reached the final of Asian Snooker Championship being played.
Owais defeated defening Champion Amir Sargosh of Iran in the semi final of the ongoing Asian Men's Snooker Championship.
Owais won by four one frame, Pakistani quests winning score 57-36, 0-80, 75-15, 67-47 and 69-32. After 2015 Owais Munir the is first Pakistani quest to qualify Asian Snooker Championship final. Qatar's Ali Abadi beat Pakistani quest Naseem Akhtar amd out him from event.
