Asia Cup 2023, Super 4: Bangladesh Defeated India By 6 Runs In Colombo

Bangladesh defeated India by six runs in the last super four match of Asia Cup 2023 in Colombo.

This is Bangladesh's first win in Asia Cup against India after 11 years.

Earlier, batting first Bangladesh scored 265 runs for the loss of eight wickets in allotted 50 overs.

Skipper Shakib Al Hasan remained top scorer with 80 runs, hitting six fours and three sixes.

Towhid Hridoy scored 54 while Nasum Ahmed hit 44 runs.

For India, Shardul Thakur bagged three while Mohammed Shami took two wickets.

In reply India were bowled out for 259 runs in 49.5 overs.

Shubman Gill remained top scorer with 121 runs off 133 balls. He hit eight fours and five sixes.

For Bangladesh, Mustafizur Rahman bagged three while debutant Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Mahedi Hasan took two wickets each.

Shakib Al Hasan declared player of the match.

The final of the Asia Cup 2023 will be played between India and Sri Lanka on Sunday.
