PSL-8 1st Eliminator: Peshawar Zalmi Beat Islamabad United By 12 Runs In Lahore
Peshawar Zalmi beat Islamabad Untied by 12 runs in the First Eliminator Of Pakistan Super League 2023 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
Peshawar will face Lahore Qalandars in the second eliminator today while Islamabad crashed out of the event.

Earlier, Islamabad United Captain Shadab Khan won the toss and elected to field.
Batting first Peshawar Zalmi scored 183 runs for the loss of eight wickets in allotted 20 overs.
Openers Saim Ayub and Babar Azam provide quick fire start to Peshawar.
Both added 60 runs stand for the first wicket in just 28 balls.
Saim made 23 off 16 with the help of five fours while Haseebullah Khan made 15, hitting three fours.
Babar Azam and Mohammad Haris increase the scoring rate as Peshawar reach 137 for two in 12.5 overs.
Babar Azam completed his half century and remained top scorer with 64 off 39 balls. Star batter hit 10 fours in his innings.
Mohammad Haris smashed 34 off 17 with the help of three fours and two sixes.
Peshawar lost quick wickets after 13th over and they only managed to score 46 runs in the last seven overs.
Tom Kohler Cadmore made 16 off 22, James Neesham added two, Aamer Jamal one and Azmatullah Omarzai hit 10 runs.
For Islamabad United, Shadab Khan bagged two while Fazalhaq Farooqi, Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali and Mohammad Wasim took one wicket each.
In reply chasing 184, Islamabad United made 171 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs.
United lost Rahmanullah Gurbaz on ten when he was caught out off Azmatullah Omarzai.
After losing the first wicket, Alex Hales and Sohaib Maqsood Stablized the innings.
Both batters played shot all around the ground and shared 115 runs stand for the second wicket.
Sohaib Maqsood remained top scorer with 60 off 48 balls. He smashed seven fours and two sixes in his innings.
Alex Hales made 57 off 37 with the help of seven fours and two sixes.
Islamabad United were 128 for one after 14 overs and they needed just 56 runs in the last six overs.
But Peshawar Zalmi's bowler bounce back with couple of wickets.
Aamer Jamal clean bowled Maqsood and hales while Salman Irshad got the key wickets of Azam Khan and Colin Munro.
Skipper Shadab Khan in the end hit 26 off 12 but his innings gone in vain as Peshawar got victory by 12 runs.
For Peshawar Zalmi, Aamer Jamal and Salman Irshad took two wickets each while Omarzai bagged one wicket.
Aamer Jamal declared player of the match.
Peshawar Zalmi will now face Lahore Qalandars today at 7.00 pm in the Second Eliminator at Gaddafi Stadium.
The winner of Second Eliminator will qualify for the final where they will face Multan Sultans on Saturday.
