Rotterdam Open: Zverev, Rublev Sent Packing
Alexander Zverev and Andrey Rublev have been sent packing from the Rotterdam Open following their losses.
German Zverev, seeded eighth, took the opening set in his last 16 encounter against Tallon Griekspoor, before the Dutch wild card fought back to seal a stunning victory.
Russian second seed Rublev, meanwhile, suffered a 6-4 6-4 defeat to Australia’s Alex De Minaur in the opening round.
There was more success for the home crowd, as Botic Van De Zandschulp saw off French Quentin Halys in his opener.
