Commonwealth Games, 200m Race: Pakistan's Shajar Abbas Finishes 8th In The Final

Pakistani Sprinter Shajar Abbas finished eight in the final of 200 meter race in the Commonwealth Games 2020 in Birmingham.

In the final, Shajar Abbas covered the distance in 21.16 seconds.

Jereem Richards of Trinidad and Tobago won gold medal with the time of 19.80 seconds.

Zharnel Hughes of England bagged silver while Joseph Paul Amoah of Ghana won bronze medal.

Shajar Abbas was the only Asian athlete this year who qualify for the final of 200 meter race.

He is the first Pakistani athlete ever to qualify for the final round.
