Pakistani Wrestler Zaman Anwar won silver medal in the 125 kilogram freestyle wrestling in Commonwealth games 2022 in Birmingham.

In the final, Amarveer Dhesi of Canada beat Zaman Anwar by fall. Dhesi was leading with the score of 9-2.

This is Pakistan's second silver medal of the day in the wrestling event.

In the 125 kilogram semi final, Zaman Anwar defeated Kooner Mandhir of England with victory by fall.

Zaman was leading by 5-0 when he got victory by fall.

Zaman Anwar played superbly as he won the quarter final against Marie Kensley Anthony of Mauritius with victory by fall.
