Euro 2020 Begins On Saturday

Rome's UEFA Commissioner hailed Euro 2020 as a fresh start for the whole of Europe after more than a year of Coronavirus, as preparations were underway before the Tournament begins in the Italian Capital.

The opening match between group A's Italy and Turkey kicks will be played on Saturday at Rome's Stadio Olimpico, which will host fans at a 25 % capacity.

Fans attending the game will have to provide either a Vaccination Certificate from at least 15 days before the game, a negative Covid-19 test from within 48 hours of the match or proof that they have recovered Coronavirus in the last six months.

Ticket holders have been given a timeslot that indicates when they have to arrive, in order to avoid gatherings outside the stadium.

Stadio Olimpico has been adorned in Euro 2020 signage and inside the stadium graphics of the flags of the competing teams are up and ready to go.

Rome will host three group stage games and one quarter final.
