Karachi Test : Pakistan 33/4 In Reply To South Africa's 220

Pakistan were 33 for four at stumps in reply to South Africa's first innings 220 on the opening day of first Cricket Test at National Stadium Karachi.

Fawad Alam was unbeaten on five with Azhar Ali on five when the stumps were drawn.

Batting first South Africa were bowled out for 220 runs in 69.2 overs.
In reply Pakistan top order failed to perform well in their first innings.
Pakistan lost four key wickets off just 27 runs.
Debutant Imran Butt made nine Abid Ali hit four while Skipper Babar Azam added seven runs. Night watchman Shaheen Shah Afridi clean bowled without scoring any run.

At the end of day's play, Pakistan were 33 for 4 with Azhar Ali and Fawad Alam at the crease, trailing the tourists by 187 runs.
