Triumphant Bayern Return Home : Bayern Beat Sevilla In Budapest To Lift UEFA Super Cup
UEFA Super Cup winners Bayern Munich returned home from Budapest, one day after they beat Sevilla 2-1 and completed a quadruple under Coach Hansi Flick, in the first European game played with fans in the stands since the sport returned amid the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Dressed in burgundy suits and ties and wearing face masks, flick's players were seen leaving Munich Airport and Boarding their team bus, with Serge Gnabry carrying the Trophy. Bundesliga top scorer Robert Lewandowski, seen standing in the rain on his own after the two Bayern team buses had left, was picked up individually.
The Bavarians, unbeaten now in 32 consecutive matches, also won the Domestic League and Cup double as well as the Champions League after flick took over last November. Their last defeat dates back to December, 2019.
