ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier: PCB Chairman Hosts Grand Reception For Participating Teams

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman hosted a Majestic reception at Lahore Fort to Honour the six International teams participating in the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier.

The Women Cricketers from Pakistan, Bangladesh, West Indies, Ireland, Scotland, and Thailand were treated like Royal Guests receiving a Grand welcome with traditional hospitality, ceremonial guards, and courtly etiquette by attendants dressed in Mughal-Era attire.

Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi personally welcomed all players and officials at the iconic Alamgiri Gate, where a group photo was taken to commemorate the occasion.

On this occasion, PCB Chairman said that Lahore welcomes all the teams coming to Pakistan with a warm heart and you are all our special guests.

Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan is a peaceful, safe and Cricket-Loving country. He hopes that your stay in Lahore will be pleasant and memorable.

Foreign Female Players and Match Officials enjoyed a cultural tour of Lahore’s heritage, including the Badshahi Mosque, Hazuri Bagh, Iqbal’s Mausoleum, and the Sheesh Mahal.

Foreign Players and officials expressed gratitude to the PCB, calling the evening “unforgettable.
